Brief Profile

Dr. Salti has a substantial experience of 22 years, out of which he had a busy surgical practice for 10 years in the US. He then moved to Dubai in 2009, whereby he has held senior surgical consultant positions since then. Dr. Salti has special training in advanced laparoscopic, gastrointestinal, breast, and endocrine surgery.

Dr. Salti is Certified (1999) and double-Recertified (2009, 2019) by the American Board of Surgery. He is an associated fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons and the American Medical Association and Wisconsin Medical Society.

He completed his General Surgery residency training at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, under the tutelage of Dr. Seymour Schwartz, true giant of American surgical scholarship (1998). Subsequently, he completed advanced subspecialty Fellowship training in colon-rectal surgery at the University of Illinois and Cook County Hospitals, Chicago (1999), under the direction of American pioneer Dr. Herand Abcarian.

Dr. Salti, in addition to his long experience in colorectal surgery, also has extensive expertise in thyroid and parathyroid surgeries, breast surgeries as well as varicose veins, not to mention that he has extensive experience in all modalities of treatment of anorectal diseases.
