Dr. Firdos Qureshi is the Director of Revenue Cycle Management at Fakeeh University Hospital, UAE.

She is a Senior Healthcare Executive with 20 years of experience in TPA, medical insurance & healthcare industry in the UAE. Besides working with the full spectrum of revenue cycle activities, she is also involved in pricing strategy, network contract validation and negotiations.

Dr. Firdos is skilled in HIS RCM set up, healthcare consulting, strategic healthcare planning, implementation of digital claims, DRG implementation and revenue optimization. Additionally, business analytics and new service set up are her other areas of interest.

In her previous professional assignments, she has been involved as the Authorization Lead at MedNet, a MunichRe based TPA in Dubai; and has been the Revenue Cycle Director at American Hospital in Dubai. In her long and illustrious career, she has successfully led teams in creating & implementing strategies on growth and management of digital claims.

She has an extensive experience in establishing and maintaining contractual relationships with local, international insurance companies, third party administrators and government or related organizations. She is an expert in reducing the rejection rate of electronic claims, reducing claims processing times, and in developing tactical plans around wellness strategy.

She is also adept in setting up the rules engine for outpatient and inpatient benefit plans for various insurance companies. As also, in reducing the impact of delayed receivables from the insurance companies and corporate customers.
