Brief Profile

Dr. Mahmoud Tabbal is a Board-Certified Consultant General Surgeon with more than 20 years of international experience in Jordan, the United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Most recently he served as Chief of General Surgery at Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai and previously as Section Head of Hepatobiliary Surgery at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Tabbal completed his advanced surgical training at Henry Ford Health System (Detroit, Michigan/USA) and Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia/Canada). He has sub speciality training in multi organ Transplant Surgery and HepatoPancreatoBiliary Surgery. He also pursued specialized training in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery at Carolinas Medical Center in North Carolina, USA, and the University of Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France.

As Head of General Surgery and Consultant Surgeon at Fakeeh University Hospital, Dr. Tabbal combines outstanding leadership with deep expertise in open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques to deliver precise, compassionate, and evidence-based care, achieving excellent outcomes and rapid recovery for every patient.
