At Fakeeh University Hospital (FUH), our nurses are the heart of healthcare. We are proud to partner with The DAISY Foundation, an internationally recognized organization dedicated to celebrating extraordinary nurses who go above and beyond for their patients and families.
Through The DAISY Award® for Extraordinary Nurses, we provide patients, families, and colleagues a dedicated platform to say "Thank You" to the caregivers who make a lasting impact on their lives.
The DAISY Award is an international recognition program established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, who passed away in 1999 from complications of an autoimmune disease. Touched by the extraordinary clinical skill, empathy, and kindness demonstrated by Patrick’s nurses, his family created DAISY (an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune System) to publicly honor outstanding nursing professionals worldwide.
