Dr. Asra Karim is a UK-trained Consultant Nephrologist with fellowship training in renal transplantation.
She completed her specialist nephrology training in the United Kingdom and previously worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB), one of the country’s leading tertiary renal centres.
Her clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of kidney care, including chronic kidney disease management, dialysis therapies (haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), anaemia in CKD, kidney transplantation, and interventional nephrology procedures.
Dr. Karim is dedicated to delivering high-quality, holistic, and patient-centered care, supporting individuals throughout their kidney journey and striving to improve outcomes for those with complex renal conditions.
Her research and academic interests focus on dialysis innovation and transplant outcomes, with contributions to peer-reviewed publications and presentations at international conferences.
