Brief Profile

Dr. Emad Alhamdah is an expert clinical pathologist with more than 15 years of experience in leading different hospital laboratories, including blood banks and academic laboratories. His skills include lab management, policy development, and he is adept in various lab testing techniques such as ELISA, EIA, ELFA, PCR and HLA.

He has specialized knowledge in laboratory automation, quality, safety, instruments, and reagents’ validation. In his career, he has headed many task forces to prepare labs for international and national laboratory accreditations, such as JCIA, CAP and CBAHI. Dr. Alhamdah has chaired and participated in different hospital committees such as blood and resources utilization, prevention and control of infection, and accreditation supervisory team. In addition, he has a vast teaching and training experience in many countries such as Syria, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
