BOOK AN APPOINTMENTDr. El Kadri is a highly accomplished cardiac electrophysiologist with a wealth of clinical and academic experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of Aleppo, Syria, and he holds a master’s degree in Cardiology from the University of Brighton and a PhD in Cellular Electrophysiology from the University of Liverpool. Dr El Kadri completed his cardiology and electrophysiology training at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, UK, in 2012. He then pursued a two-year advanced fellowship in catheter ablation and cardiac devices at the prestigious University of Michigan, USA.
Dr. El Kadri served as a consultant at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital before moving to Abu Dhabi in 2016 to become the Director of Electrophysiology Services at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC). With over 3,500 heart rhythm procedures performed, Dr. El Kadri specializes in the mapping and ablation of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, as well as advanced cardiac device management. His expertise includes lead extractions, interventional biventricular pacing techniques, leadless pacemakers, subcutaneous ICDs, and left atrial appendage closure devices.
He is certified in electrophysiology and cardiac devices by leading international organizations, including the British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS), European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA), and the Heart Rhythm Society (IBHRE-HRS) in the USA. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).
