Brief Profile

Dr. Samar Assem Badreddine has joined Dubai Silicon Oasis’ Fakeeh University Hospital, after being an Infectious Diseases Consultant and the Director of the Infection Control Department at Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital (DSFH) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She was also the Chief of Medical & Clinical Division at DSFH.

Prior to this, from 2001 till 2009 Dr. Badreddine was the Consultant of Infectious Diseases and Director of Infection Control at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Jeddah. She then moved to Dubai in 2009 and till 2011, she served as a Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Director of the Infection Control Department at Dubai Health Authority’s Rashid Hospital. She then went back to Saudi Arabia and joined DSFH.

In her illustrious career of 25 years, she has been a recipient of many recognitions, like the Arab Health Award for Infection Control in 2009 and Team Leader of Infection Control Chapter, Mecca Region Quality Program, 2002-2006.
