Dr. Serife Simsek is a Consultant Breast Surgeon and a General Surgeon with advanced expertise in breast cancer management and a broad spectrum of general surgical conditions. She is internationally trained in oncoplastic breast surgery and is recognized for delivering precise, patient-centered care with excellent oncologic and aesthetic outcomes.
Dr. Simsek completed advanced Master’s Degrees in Breast Cancer and Breast Surgery at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), in collaboration with the University of Milan, Italy, as well as in European Surgical Oncology, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Surgery at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain.
She has further strengthened her expertise in oncoplastic breast surgery through advanced European training and exposure to diverse and complex surgical cases across leading breast units, enabling her to manage challenging cases with both oncologic safety and aesthetic precision.
She is recognized as one of the pioneering breast surgeons in the UAE in the clinical adoption and advancement of the FDA-approved Sentimag® magnetic localization system, including Magtrace® and Magseed®. She has played an active role in introducing and expanding the use of these technologies in the region for sentinel lymph node mapping and localization of non-palpable breast lesions, enabling radiation-free, precise, and patient-friendly surgical approaches widely used in leading international centers.
